Château de la Vigne offers excellent self-catering accommodation with a wide range of facilities and is ideally situated for exploring the many wonderful delights of the Loire Valley.
The Château, formerly the home of a wine-maker, is set in mature and extensive grounds with secure walled courtyards. The original building was destroyed during the Vendeen war of 1793 and the present property was re-built in 1830.
We are situated on the edge of the small wine producing village of Concourson-sur-Layon, known for its “Anjou” and “Coteaux de Layon” wines, some 15 miles from the enchanting town of Saumur and just 3 miles from the market town of Doué la Fontaine.
The owners approached EDML as we were able to combine Aerial Photography with Virtual Tours and an interactive content management system.
